Terms And Conditions
Terms of Service
Last Updated: January 3, 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to Monetro (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Monetro website (monetro.com) and our evaluation services. By accessing our services, creating an account, or purchasing a Challenge, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Important Notice: Monetro is strictly a provider of educational evaluation services and simulated trading technology. We are not a broker, financial custodian, or investment advisor. We do not accept deposits for investment purposes, nor do we offer financial advice.
2. Nature of Services (Educational & Technological)
The Monetro platform is designed solely for educational and skills assessment purposes. Our services allow users to practice trading strategies in a simulated environment to prove their discipline and risk management skills.
- No Financial Services: The Company does not provide investment services, capital markets products, or execute actual financial transactions on behalf of clients.
- SRTIP Compliance: In accordance with our registration within the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP), our core business is the provision of technology and analysis tools, not financial intermediation.
3. The Evaluation Challenge & Fees
3.1 Service Fee Definition
The fee paid to participate in a Monetro Challenge is legally defined as a Service Fee for access to our educational platform, data feeds, and evaluation systems.
- Non-Refundable: This fee is for the “consumption” of our technology. Once the Service has commenced (defined as the placement of the first trade on the account), the fee is non-refundable.
- Not a Deposit: This fee is not a financial deposit and will not be returned or used for trading capital.
4. Prohibited Trading Practices (Strictly Enforced)
Monetro seeks disciplined traders. To ensure a fair evaluation of skill, the following strategies—which exploit technical inefficiencies rather than market analysis—are strictly prohibited.
Use of these strategies will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any fees or pending rewards:
- 4.1 Grid Trading: Placing simultaneous buy and sell orders on the same instrument (or correlated instruments) at fixed intervals to capture price movements without directional bias.
- 4.2 Martingale & Layering: Systematically opening additional positions in a losing direction to “average out” the entry price, resulting in excessive risk exposure (e.g., doubling lot size after a loss).
- 4.3 High-Frequency Trading (HFT): Use of automated bots or algorithms designed to execute orders at speeds faster than humanly possible (e.g., executing dozens of trades within a single minute).
- 4.4 Latency Arbitrage: Exploiting the time delay between our simulated feed and the real market feed to execute risk-free trades.
- 4.5 Tick Scalping: Opening and closing trades within an extremely short timeframe (e.g., less than 30 seconds) primarily to exploit feed ticks rather than market structure.
- 4.6 Account Management (Third-Party Trading): Allowing a third party to trade your account, or trading on behalf of others. The account owner must be the sole operator.
5. Account Inactivity & Data Retention
To maintain server stability and performance for active traders:
- 5.1 Expiration: If a Challenge or Funded Account remains inactive (no new orders placed) for a period of 30 consecutive days, the account will be automatically archived.
- 5.2 Reinstatement: Archived accounts may be permanently deleted. Reinstatement is at the sole discretion of Monetro and may incur a reactivation fee.
6. Performance Rewards (Payouts)
6.1 Nature of Payouts
Payouts are “Performance Rewards” paid for the data generated by your successful simulated trading.
- 6.2 Independent Contractor Status: You are an Independent Contractor. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between you and Monetro. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes in your local jurisdiction.
- 6.3 Payout Requirements: To request a payout, you must:
- Pass all KYC/AML verification checks.
- Adhere to all Consistency Rules and Max Loss limits.
- Have no flags for Prohibited Trading Practices (Section 4).
7. Platform & Data Disclaimer
- 7.1 Simulated Feeds: Market data provided in the dashboard is simulated. While we strive for accuracy, minor discrepancies between our feed and third-party brokers (e.g., TradingView) may occur. These discrepancies do not constitute grounds for a dispute or refund.
- 7.2 Technical Issues: Monetro is not liable for trading losses caused by your internet connection instability, power outages, or hardware failure.
8. Intellectual Property & Copy Trading
- 8.1 License to Data: By trading on our platform, you grant Monetro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, and analyze your trading data.
- 8.2 Copy Trading Rights: Monetro reserves the right to copy your simulated trades into our own internal live corporate accounts for our own benefit. You are not entitled to any profits from these internal corporate operations beyond your agreed Performance Reward.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the regulations of the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP).
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sharjah, UAE.
