To comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards and process Performance Rewards (Payouts), we collect:

  • Identity Documents: Government-issued ID (Passport, National ID), proof of address (utility bill), and biometric data (live selfie verification).
  • Verification Status: Results from third-party KYC providers (e.g., Sumsub, Veriff) confirming your eligibility.

2.2 Technical & Device Data (Anti-Fraud)

To enforce our Terms of Service (Section 4: Prohibited Practices) and prevent “Account Management” or “Group Trading,” we automatically log:

  • Device Fingerprints: IP address, browser type, operating system, and unique device identifiers (MAC address).
  • Login History: Geolocation data and login timestamps.
  • VPN/Proxy Usage: Detection of tools used to mask true location.

2.3 Trading Performance Data

As an educational technology provider, we record and analyze all activity within the simulated trading platform:

  • Trade Logs: Open/close times, lot sizes, instruments traded, and order modification logs.
  • Behavioral Metrics: Speed of execution (to detect HFT bots) and trading patterns (to detect Grid/Martingale strategies).

2.4 Financial Data

  • Transaction Records: Details of Challenge purchases and Payout requests.
  • Payment Details: We do not store full credit card numbers. All payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following specific legal and business purposes:

  1. Service Provision: To generate trading credentials, provide dashboard access, and track your progress through the Evaluation Challenge.
  2. Compliance & Risk Monitoring:
    • To analyze trading data for Prohibited Trading Practices (e.g., HFT, Latency Arbitrage).
    • To detect multiple accounts operated by a single user or third-party management services.
  3. Payout Processing: To verify your identity before issuing Performance Rewards, ensuring funds are sent to the rightful account owner.
  4. Platform Improvement: Analyzing aggregated trading data to optimize our server performance and simulated feeds.
  5. Marketing & Communication: To send transactional emails (credentials, invoices) and, with your consent, promotional offers or educational content.

4. Disclosure of Information (Third Parties)

Monetro does not sell your data. We share information only with trusted partners strictly necessary for our operations:

  • Trading Platform Providers: (e.g., Match-Trader, cTrader) to create simulated accounts and execute orders.
  • KYC Verification Vendors: To automate identity checks securely.
  • Payment Processors: To facilitate secure purchases and payouts.
  • Legal Authorities: If required by UAE law, SRTIP regulations, or a valid court order, we may disclose data to law enforcement.

5. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: We retain data for as long as your account is active.
  • Inactive Accounts: As per our Terms of Service, trading data for inactive accounts may be archived after 30 days.
  • Legal Records: We retain KYC and transaction records for a minimum of 5 years to comply with tax and anti-money laundering regulations.

6. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside of your country of residence (including in the UAE and Europe). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data during these transfers.
