You can hold positions overnight and over weekends, run EAs and automated strategies, and there are no consistency rules on any challenge model. News trading is permitted on Evolution and Endurance challenges; Velocity (our 1-step product) does not permit news trading. Like all professional prop firms, we restrict a small list of techniques that exploit technical inefficiencies rather than market structure — including grid trading, martingale, latency arbitrage, and high-frequency tick scalping. Once eligible, Monetro processes approved payouts in an average of 8 hours — among the fastest in the industry. Your first payout becomes eligible after 5 trading days and 14 calendar days from your first trade. Subsequent payouts require 3 trading days and 14 calendar days between requests. Once these conditions are met, the 8-hour average processing time applies.
Each model is built for a different trader profile. Velocity (1-step) — single-phase evaluation with a 10% profit target. Trailing 6% maximum drawdown, 1:50 leverage. News trading not permitted. Best for experienced traders who want the fastest path to funding. Evolution (2-step) — Assessment phase (8% target) plus Verification phase (5% target). Static 10% maximum drawdown, 1:100 leverage. News trading permitted. The balanced default for most traders. Endurance (3-step) — Three phases at 5% target each. Static 10% maximum drawdown, 1:100 leverage. News trading permitted. Lowest pressure per phase, lowest fees. Suitable for traders building consistency.
Your first payout becomes eligible 14 calendar days after your first trade, with a minimum of 5 trading days completed. After that, payouts can be requested every 14 calendar days with a minimum of 3 trading days. Once eligible, the average processing time for approved requests is 8 hours.
Across all challenges, your maximum exposure on any single trade is capped at 2% of your account balance. Daily loss and total drawdown limits vary by product: Velocity: 4% daily loss (based on higher of equity/balance), 6% trailing maximum drawdown locked at initial balance. Evolution & Endurance: 5% daily loss (based on previous day balance), 10% static maximum drawdown fixed at initial balance. Stop-loss and take-profit orders are not mandatory but strongly recommended.
